The Township of Athens Public Works Department provides many of the basic services that affect the daily lives of everyone who lives and works in the Athens area.
The Department of Public Works is responsible for construction, renovation and the operation of Township facilities and infrastructure.
The Department maintains the Township streets and roads, maintains storm drains as well as public buildings and service facilities.
Throughout its history, the Department of Public Works has been responsible for construction, renovation and improvement programs with public facilities and systems throughout the Township of Athens.
