State of Emergency Declared in Ontario
MESSAGE TO OUR RESIDENTS
Effective Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 12:01 a.m.
The government is issuing a stay-at-home order requiring everyone to remain at home with exceptions for permitted purposes or activities, such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing health care services, for outdoor exercise or for work where the work cannot be done remotely. Please do your part and follow health recommendations to limit exposure and avoid all unnecessary public socializing during this most recent shut down. Stay safe, stay home and hopefully we can reduce and end the spread of COVID-19.
The Township office is closed to the public. All municipal buildings remain closed at this time.
Office staff is available by phone (613-924-2044) and email during regular office hours. Public Works will continue to operate as usual.
The Transfer Station will remain open Wednesday & Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Face coverings/masks will now be required on site at all times.
The Library will be continuing with curbside pickup, visit their website www.athenslibrary.ca for further information.

Dog Tags
Dog Tags are available for purchase at the Municipal Office.
All dogs in the municipality are to be registered yearly.
Male and Spayed Female - $8.00
Unspayed Female - $15.00
After March 31st the fee doubles.
Interac Machine available for MasterCard, Visa & debit transactions.
